Equip Plumbing was founded in May 2004 by Scot Thompson, initially operating as a sole trader. In July 2007, Scot took the next step in the business's evolution by incorporating Equip Plumbing as a company.

With extensive experience and deep knowledge in the hydraulics field, Scot has built Equip Plumbing into one of Sydney’s leading small to medium-sized industrial and commercial plumbing businesses.
